JAN-AIR, INC. was established in 1949 three blocks south of its present location. We moved to our present location in 1970 after a fire destroyed much of the old building and have been under the same ownership since 1973. In 1949, we primarily made forward curve blower wheels for the OEM oil/gas burner industry and other fan manufacturers, supplying smaller blower wheels to complete their lines.
Over the years, we have expanded our lines to include forward curve, backward incline, radial blade and turbo blowers. These are available in steel, stainless steel and aluminum and include the component parts such as housing, inlets and motor bases.
Our OEM customer base now has expanded to include manufacturers of farm equipment, ovens, environmental chambers, generators, dust collectors, paper conveyors, computer board soldering chambers, and air knifes just to name a few.
